Electrical equipment and lighting

ARaymond develops and manufactures solutions for cable management, assembling and mounting of lighting fixtures, and electrical grounding. Our extensive catalog includes standard product families as well as custom-developed parts to meet manufacturers’ unique needs.

Electrical wire and hose management

ARaymond offers a wide range of cable and tube fasteners to keep cables, wires, and hoses away from moving parts and panel edges, for increased quality and lower noise. Parts are available in several standard designs suitable for various wire diameters and panel thicknesses used in electrical, lighting and cable trays applications. ARaymond cable management products are convenient for a broad range of routing scenarios.

Self-locking re-openable cable clips for efficient assembly & maintenance

Cable straps are very versatile when it comes to mounting a broad range of cable bundles of varying diameters. ARaymond cable clips are an effective alternative with a self-locking design, that is easy to open and close, and facilitates assembly and maintenance or replace parts during the lifetime of the product. Plastic cable clips can be mounted on panel edges, or into holes or on studs.

Assembly and mounting of lighting fixtures

Lighting fixtures are mounted on ceilings, walls, floors, or structural elements, and can be recessed, surface-mounted, or hung. ARaymond can design a number of custom made mounting solutions suitable for a wide range of configurations. They are compliant with both plastic and metal interfaces to provide performant assembly and disassembly to facilitate maintenance.

Mounting light fixtures

With our ARaymond™ customized metal clip, you can both assemble quickly and easily panels inside your lighting fixtures, but also the entire lighting fixture. Our optimized metal clips for tight environments are suitable for a fast, manual assembly to fix the grill to the luminaire with an aesthetic finish.

Assembling panels of electrical cabinets

Panel edge nuts are a preferred alternative to machine screws for faster and more cost-effective assembly of panels. They are easy to assemble with no special tools and can be used in place of clinch nuts and weld nuts to fasten mating panels quickly and easily. Once inserted in the hole, the retaining tab on these edge nuts keeps the part firmly in position, facilitating pre-assembly. ARaymond metal panel clips and cage nuts fit over a panel edge or hole and can be used to attach several metal panels. By eliminating time-consuming assembly operations like screwing, manufacturers can achieve cost savings without compromising on performance.

Grounding of electrical equipment and lighting fixtures

According to IEC standards, consumer electrical appliances must be grounded. This means connecting the metal chassis to a ground wire. In the event of an electrical issue causing a live wire to come into contact with metal parts, the current will flow through the ground wire and trip the circuit breaker. To facilitate the grounding procedure, ARaymond™ grounding solutions eliminate the need for holes, welded studs, and toothed and threaded washers.

Lugged grounding clips

ARaymond™ lugged grounding clips are mounted on a panel edge ensuring conductivity between metal panels and electrical wiring via connecting lugs. The inner claws penetrate the surface of the panel (paint, for example) to ensure conductivity.

Stud grounding clips

We also offer shaft retainers to lock studs onto panels or any other part with a flat surface. The clips must be pushed onto the stud from the top to be mounted; electrical conductivity is ensured by a lug connector.

Assemble panels and trim quickly, without tools

Assemble panels and trim quickly, without tools

When it comes to assembling metal panels, screwing, drilling, and welding are often the first solutions that come to mind. However, clips can make your production line faster and more efficient while substantially reducing the cost associated with quality issues.
ARaymond™ metal panel clips come in U or S shapes with or without barbs and help operators assemble panels and trim quickly, without tools.
