The rapid adoption of AI is transforming the way Data Centers are designed, cooled, and scaled. Higher power densities, increasing sustainability requirements, and the growing adoption of liquid cooling are reshaping how next-generation Data Center infrastructure is designed and deployed.
To explore these trends and engage with industry leaders, ARaymond participated in Data Centre World Asia 2026, held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore from September 29 to 30. The event brought together industry leaders to explore the technologies and strategies enabling the Data Centers of tomorrow, from AI-ready infrastructure and high-density computing to energy efficiency and sustainable operations.
A new approach to Universal Quick Disconnects
At the event, ARaymond showcased its latest fluid handling innovation: a new generation of advanced polymer Universal Quick Disconnects (UQDs) designed specifically for liquid cooled Data Centers. Drawing on decades of expertise in fluid management and high-volume manufacturing, ARaymond is helping address one of the industry's emerging challenges: scaling liquid cooling infrastructure to support the rapid growth of AI workloads.
Built to scale the future of Data Center infrastructure
Traditionally manufactured from metal and used primarily in niche high-performance computing applications, UQDs are now becoming critical components in mainstream Data Center cooling architectures. ARaymond's advanced polymer solution offers a new approach, combining lightweight design, corrosion-free fluid pathways, and manufacturing scalability. Available in multiple sizes, the connectors integrate easily into existing liquid-cooling ecosystems while reducing weight by up to 75% compared with comparable metal solutions.
Beyond performance, the injection-molded design unlocks new possibilities for fluid management, enabling more efficient routing and optimized use of space. Combined with a lightweight, eco-designed architecture, it delivers a significantly lower carbon footprint than comparable metal alternatives and can be manufactured using bio-based materials upon request.
The notable interest shown by visitors throughout the event confirmed the growing need for reliable, scalable fluid handling solutions that can support the future of AI infrastructure.
