ARaymond Tinnerman Industrial*, the leading supplier of fastening and assembly solutions to the North American market, hosted its ever-popular distributor breakfast at this year’s National Industrial Fastener and Mill Supply Expo (NIFS).
The annual networking event is an ideal opportunity for ARaymond Tinnerman Industrial to strengthen its relationships with distribution customers and update them on product launches and developments within the company.
Gerry Sorvino, Director of Industrial Sales, said: “This was the ninth distributor breakfast we have held at NIFS and more than 40 of our distributors joined us, which is the largest attendance we have ever had. In fact, so many people were there we ran out of seating".
“We brought our distributors up to speed on the progress the ARaymond Network** has made globally in the past 12 months and how our ongoing investment in new facilities and R&D means we are better able to serve end users. We also updated them on regional initiatives including forthcoming product launches, how we have invested in new plant and equipment at all our locations in North America, and the appointment of two new account managers to strengthen our presence in the industrial market.”
In the afternoon ARaymond Tinnerman Industrial held an open forum to present the results of a survey conducted among its distributors.
Mr Sorvino added: “We consider our distributors to be our partners and we asked for their input into how we could work together better. The survey and forum was well received by our distributors who all said this would aid collaboration and showed we were truly interested in meeting their needs.”
Headquartered in Michigan and acquired by the ARaymond Network in 2009, Tinnerman was founded in 1870 and built its reputation by developing time-saving fasteners that improved the efficiency of assembly processes.
For the first time in many years ARaymond Tinnerman Industrial also exhibited at NIFS. Held in late October in Las Vegas, Nevada, the show featured more than 600 exhibiting companies from 20 countries and is the world’s largest expo for the fastener industry.
The ARaymond Tinnerman Industrial booth displayed wire management products, the Palnut® fastener range and the latest bonding technology, highlighting the breadth of ARaymond™ fastening solutions.
Amy Jacobs, Marketing Co-ordinator, said: “The booth received a steady flow of visitors throughout the expo and helped raise awareness of our brand. We were able to show that we are a global company focused on innovation, with a full range of plastic fastener products in addition to the metal product lines of Tinnerman that are so well known.”
In response to the requests of distributors, ARaymond Tinnerman Industrial says it will hold its breakfast event at NIFS 2016 a day earlier to allow even more of them to attend.
