ARTI* launches ARaymond™ plastic rivet range to the US market at leading HVACR fair
ARaymond Tinnerman Industrial (ARTI) is set to increase its penetration of the US HVAC market following a successful show for the third consecutive year at the Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigerating (AHR) Expo. This year’s fair was held in New York, NY, January 21-24.
The AHR Expo is the largest HVACR show in the world, and despite fierce storms and heavy snow, the attendance in January was similar to previous years, with almost 30,000 visitors and 1,900 exhibitors.
ARTI, exhibiting alongside Rayconnect***, demonstrated a wide range of plastic and metal standard parts for use in the HVAC industry, and ARTI representatives explained to visitors how these parts can provide significant cost savings to OEMs.
The ARTI product families on display consisted of u-nuts, Palnut® push-ons and stamped nuts, expansion nuts, cage nuts, multiple variations of trim clips, as well as plastic push-pins and rivets. In addition, the ARaymond™ plastic rivet product family was launched to the US market at the show, and ARTI expects to begin manufacturing this product family soon. The booth also featured a torn-down and retrofitted display of a furnace, highlighting all the ARTI parts that can be used in such an application.
ARTI was able to connect with several potential new customers, all of which manufacture in the US.
ARTI was asked to supply a customer with u-nut clips that can be used to join two panels together in a water boiler application. Another one is also to begin using ARTI new burner grounding clip, an electrical grounding solution, also for use in the same water boiler application.
“ARTI has only been in the HVAC market for around three years, so it takes time to gain brand recognition,” said Dan Kerr, VP sales at ARaymond Tinnerman Industrial. “So the focus of the AHR show is to gain brand awareness as an innovative fastener supplier, as well as penetrate key OEMs within the HVAC market.”
